On the occasion of the Day of the Mother, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and both his sons Rustam Emomali and Somon Emomali yesterday participated in the tree planting event in the National Emblem Park in Dushanbe, according to the Tajik president’s official website.

The president and his sons reportedly planted several ornamental and evergreen trees in the park. In all, more than 430 trees, including more than 70 chestnut trees, 120 Kansas plum-trees, 95 magnolias, and 120 cypresses and cedar-trees were planted in the National Emblem Park yesterday.

All these trees were reportedly delivered to the country from Europe.
